Thanksgiving: the onset of the holiday season. A time where we reflect on our blessings and acknowledge that of which we’re thankful. And yes, I’m immensely grateful for many things… my babies, extended family, health and bla bla bla. I think we’ve all heard enough of the usual cliches, and it’s about time to turn this season of gratitude upside down by airing our grievances one complaint at a time! Who’s with me?!
Let’s cut to the chase… here’s 25 things I’m not grateful for:
- Any and all Beyonce music
- Hallmark movies
- The Game of Thrones ending
- Broccoli
- People making small talk with me just because I have kids
- Nail polish that chips in less than 24 hours
- Hangovers
- Tomato sauce in a jar
- People who don’t use their blinker
- Long breaks in between seasons of The Housewives
- Anyone who apologizes for looking like crap when they have a full face of makeup and styled hair
- Asinine blogger tutorials for the most common sense shit
- How everyone hides the fact that we all have toe hair
- People who don’t wave when you let them pull out in front of you
- Public bathrooms that don’t have changing tables
- Price tags that don’t peel off easily
- When autocorrect changes ‘fucking’ to ‘ducking’
- Anyone who says “you look tired”
- Commercials that are substantially louder than the show you’re watching
- People who are on their phones all day but ignore responding to texts
- Fad diets
- Toilet paper that’s so thin you need the whole roll to wipe
- The term ‘capsule wardrobe’
- Spiders
- Probably the worst of all… running out of wine!
So, what do ya say? Will ya join me in shouting your gripes from the rooftop? After all, a couple things I’m most thankful for are keepin’ it real and having a good sense of humor! Pour yourself a bevvy and share your grievances with me over on the ‘gram. Cheers, babes!

I’m not sure how we’re not friends (or long lost sisters?). #1…#9…#14….ok basically most of these, except the kid ones because mine is 28 and I forgot what it was like to have a little one. And I like broccoli.
